| Our goal is to inspire, educate and offer new found hope.
Through the intervention process we help your family to break
through the denial and allow the patient to see for the first
time what they and their loved ones are being robed of. Intervention
should be a very individualized and creative process, although
there needs to be a basic format, we do not use “models”
or a cookie cutter recipe, we design a plan to meet the patient
and families needs. By the time the intervention is taking
place all the “what if’s” have been answered
and your family is feeling strong and hopeful once again.
We help to choose the most appropriate facility for admission
through an assessment process with all participants prior
to the first physical meeting with our staff. We strongly
suggest that a family member accompanies the patient for admission,
as this is an important step of the emotional process with
your patient, to physically see the facility and make a connection
with the staff for a smooth admission and treatment stay.
We want to give the patient every opportunity to feel as though
they are a part of the decision to get help. It is not just
about getting someone to treatment, it is paramount that we
focus on how someone gets to treatment as well. Intervention
can happen in as little as 24 to 48 hours, however we suggest
that a strategy is well developed to optimize the chances
of a successful admission and treatment experience, rather
than meet a deadline.
We are here to plan with you every step of the way from the
very first phone call to aftercare counseling following discharge.
We are on call 24/7 and work as a liaison between the treatment
center and the family to help facilitate a smooth transition
from discharge into home and work environments. All family
counseling and guidance whether by phone or in person is included
in our intervention fee for 90 days beginning at the time
of booking no matter how often it is needed. We offer sliding
scale fees and conduct interventions any where in the United
States and Europe. There will be a representative of the chosen
treatment center to meet you at the airport and will transport
you and your patient to admissions.
